ATHENS, May 11. (Reuters) -
Industrial production rose 0.6% year-on-year in March, compared with a
3.2% drop in February, according to
data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT)
on Monday.
The processing increased by 2%, compared to the same month
of 2019, as the production of basic
pharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals for the
treatment of coronavirus pandemic in the country increased significantly .
On the contrary, the production of mines-quarries decreased by 4.3%
and the production of electricity by 5.1%.
EL.STAT. announced the following figures for
March industrial production:
