Prior to joining Janus in 2014, he worked at GTCR, a Chicago-based private equity firm. Before that, he served as an investment banking analyst for Barclays Capital and Lincoln International. Aaron earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Iowa. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School, graduating with high distinction as a Baker Scholar. Aaron has 17 years of financial industry experience.

He joined Janus in July 1996 as a research analyst focusing on U.S. media, broadcasting, financial and technology companies, and became a portfolio manager in June 2000. From June 2000 to January 2008, Mr. Sachs served as portfolio manager of Janus Orion Fund and all related portfolios. Additionally, from February 2005 to February 2006, he served as Portfolio Manager of Janus Triton Fund and all related portfolios. Prior to joining Janus, Mr. Sachs was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company and prior to that worked as a securities attorney advising public and private companies on capital markets and general corporate matters. He received his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Princeton University, where he graduated cum laude, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan. Mr. Sachs holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 18 years of financial industry experience.
